I have always found the Penguin team, to be ever so helpful, in all departments, not only for their excellent financial advice, but they also care about you and your familys wellbeing, and you don't find that sort of care in many establishments. They will always go that extra mile to help you with any query, and last week, my wife and I turned up a week too early for our yearly review with Dan Herridge, our advisor. The staff kindly pointed out we were a week early but Dan, still made time by altering his scheduling to fit us in. They never once made us once feel awkward, and Dan saved the day. I would always recommend anyone to Penguin financial services, all our investments have done extremely well. Over the past 3 years we have had a trust set up, for our children and great pension funds for my wife and I, and our ISA are also doing very well. (Although as you know investments can go up or down and past performances can't be a guarantee of future ones!) Dan Herridge the inimitable Advisor financial guru! Dan is unique in that he is both highly professional and exceptionally warm. He has a natural ability to combine deep knowledge and insight with a style that immediately puts you at ease. From the first time I met him, I felt I could build a genuine rapport with him. He’s down to earth, engaging, and he earns your trust incredibly quickly. He’s both analytical and intuitive, but he explains things in such a clear, accessible way that you feel completely comfortable asking even the simplest questions. Dan took the time to analyse and research my financial situation thoroughly, and he delivered exactly what Penguin promises: managing my wealth and estate with care and expertise. I met with Tom from Penguin 5 years ago to discuss my Pension options and arrangements. Having researched a number of different firms in the Cardiff area I decided to try Penguin and have not regretted my decision. My dealings with Tom have always been very professional and knowledgeable. Making decisions about your pension is probably the biggest and most important that you will make financially and Tom has been patient and thorough in reviewing and recommending the various options and way forward. I am naturally very cautious and risk aware and Tom has been great in taking this on board but also providing reassurance that we can also look to use our pension to enjoy life too! It has also been great to have someone ensure that important – but often put off – actions such as Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorneys are in place. Penguin also offer various webinars and regular e-mail communications that help guide & inform clients about various external economic matters and recent changes that may affect them. On hearing the news that I would be being made redundant, my head was spinning as to the best way forward with my pension planning. Nathan came to the site of my work and took a few details from me.
