LifeSearch Insurance Broker Milton Keynes

Not the most positive experience with LifeSearch. I received multiple cold calls from them, despite blocking several numbers, after running some comparison quotes online (although I could've sworn I ticked the box not to be contacted). Eventually I did pick up and had a very positive conversation with Georgie. She was really helpful on the phone, however failed to send follow up information after our call as promised - it's been a few days now. I decided to go elsewhere to arrange life cover and rang up out of courtesy to cancel a follow up appointment that had been booked during my call with Georgie. The call handler was quite rude actually, kept interrupting me and talking over me, and when I asked to have my contact details removed they were very dismissive, rude, scoffing and sarcastic with me.

I had a scheduled telephone appointment with LifeSearch which the adviser failed to attend. Around 45 minutes after the agreed appointment time, I still had not received a call from the adviser, so I contacted LifeSearch myself to find out what was happening. I was told the adviser was away from their desk. I asked whether I could speak to another adviser as I wanted to get my life insurance arranged, but was told this wasn’t possible because the case was assigned to the original adviser. I appreciate that unexpected situations can arise, but I was disappointed that there was no proactive communication about the missed appointment and no flexibility to have another adviser assist me. As someone in the middle of a house purchase, I had specifically set aside time for this call. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling that my time wasn’t valued and I have decided to look elsewhere for advice.

Received an unsolicited call from 'Ryan' who I politely advised this was not a good time (9 am on a Monday). My details were sold by Moneysupermarket. He became increasingly impolite and when I said I didn't want to be called again he abruptly hung up. Really impolite and would recommend that they're avoided.

Constant phone calls on an annual basis trying to upsell me into a more expensive life insurance policy than the one we took out in our 20’s and is still in place. I’ve asked them to stop calling several times which has not been respected so here I am leaving a review. I would never use LifeSearch again even if I needed a new policy as they are a total nuisance.

Spent weeks in discussion with Lifesearch, after being denied a policy by Beagle Street due to some specific conditions regarding hobbies. After having run through MULTIPLE application forms, totalling hours and hours of my time, the best price they could manage was £55 a month. I then proceeded to do my own research and found a company that offered me cover for less than half of the above figure, without having to change anything about the personal information supplied. Now obviously the £55p/m figure will include a percentage commission paid to Lifesearch, so it strikes me they're more concerned about lining their own pockets than saving you money. AVOID.

Company arranged my life insurance years ago. Rang me out of the blue off a random mobile number, and demanded to take me through security checks, asking for my date of birth, address etc. when I pointed out there was no way I'd be telling a random man on a random number those details, he really couldn't understand why not and got cross with me! What an idiot. I later rang the company on a central number and they confirmed he was one of their agents. Lifesearch - you can't ring clients and demand they give you personal info like that out of the blue.

Cold callers keep contacting me despite me telling them I don’t need their help and have already taken out an insurance policy. Will not remove me from their contact list. They got my information from compare the market despite unticking the ‘contact me’ box.
