I almost didn't contact them when their website didn't mention being a whole of market broker, but I'm glad that I did! I had two meetings with Louise who was far more helpful and personable than my previous broker, who never seemed very interested in my needs. Everything was arranged very easily, and I ended up being offered a mortgage in just over a week with a better deal than I thought was possible. Yasmin was also very helpful, and reapplying for a better interest rate a few weeks later to get an even better deal was done with no problems or fuss. They're very fast to reply to emails, which is always a big positive when you've thought of the latest thing that could go wrong and need a fast answer. Having previously gotten mortgages myself from going directly to lenders, I can say this was certainly an easier experience. Not having to go through a two-hour interview with the lender directly, being able to ask questions and check things without feeling like you're going to say the wrong thing and saving money are just three reasons I will list. I'd definitely recommend contacting Birmingham Mortgage Advice next time you're looking for a mortgage. I will certainly be back in the future when the need arises. 😃

We are still waiting to complete our home move, however we had our mortgage appointment with Romarna a few months ago and she was friendly, easy to communicate with and sorted all the finer details for us to get the best mortgage offer. Since we’ve got further in the process we have been in communication with Yasmin. Yasmin has always done her best to help move any issues on for us and to contact the lender when needed. Again being very responsive to any emails we send. I would definitely recommend them both for our experience so far.

We initially met with Louise in 2024 once we were considering putting our house on the market so we could consider our options. Louise was very informative and we left feeling positive and informed. It took until Nov 2025 for us to find a dedicated buyer and then until March 2026 to have an offer accepted on a property. During this time Louise kept in touch and was easy to contact. As soon as we found a property we liked Louise booked us in and our mortgage application was quick, simple and we left feeling positive. Within a couple of days we were advised that our mortgage offer was received. The whole process was amazing and we would definitely recommend the mortgage advice group to anyone looking for advice. Im sure there all amazing here, but I cant thank Romarna and yasmin enough for everything they have done, id spoken to 2 other brokers and they didnt think it was possible, everything you could want they have done and gave help and advice on the way, id definitely recommended bma to anyone and will definitely be coming here again in the future.
