Having been in Banking for 35 years and knowing my way around Mortgages i never expected to use a Broker. But since i left the bank and became self employed Jonnie and his team were a massive support in getting an increased mortgage to support some home imporvements. The deal was better than anywhere online and end to end from initial chat to payout was 3 weeks - unbelievable service and I would highly recommend Bricks and Mortar Mortgages - they are exceptional.

I recently used bricks and mortar for a mortgage ( my application was not a simple one, it was very complex due to the nature of income and various other factors) I had a chat with Jonathan and explained everything regarding my circumstances and jonathan picked out two or three lenders at the top of his head, i was absolutely surprised how he would know that on the top of his head as he deals with a few hundred lenders. Due to my circumstances, the mortgage was not simple, jonathan worked very hard throughout the process. Johnathan has a vast knowledge of all of the house buying process including estates agents, solictors and home reports and so much more. The first initial sale feel through due to a structure defect sadly, Jonathan had secured the mortgage and the funds were with the solictor, however after telling Johnathan about the roof issue he advised me to drop out of the sale as the roof issues could be potentially unrepairable and i would have issues selling it down the line, i really appreciate Johnathan advice as he had worked so hard to secure the mortgage for me espically with my complex circumstances. The fact jonathan said pull out and he would be get me another mortgage for no extra cost, this shows he is not about making money and sales, he puts his clients best interest first. Dispute all his work he got me a another mortgage without any additional cost as he promised, i admire his trustworthiness and knowledge abojt mortgages which is very extensive. I would definetely use him again and recommend anybody to him without a shadow of a doubt, i am very impressed. Thank you once again for everything Jonhathan, i love the new home and the gift box you sent me went down a treat.
As a first-time buyer, I honestly couldn’t have asked for better support from Jonathan and the Bricks and Mortar team. I don't think buying a property can ever be a fully stress-free experience, but the whole process felt a lot less overwhelming thanks to their clear advice and guidance. I also really appreciated being pointed towards a trusted solicitor, as I didn't have one when starting the process - it made the legal side of things a lot easier to deal with. Overall, a great experience, and I would definitely recommend Bricks and Mortar, especially if you're a first-time buyer.
